Carl is the vice president and consulting director of PDI Ninth House’s Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Territories. He directs the organization’s Global, Adjunct Coaching Network, in which he leads PDI Ninth House’s Talent and Leadership development activities and deploys a global coaching network. Carl has worked with numerous organizations and thousands of executives as they grappled with issues related to strategic planning, talent development, succession planning, and knowledge management. He has worked internationally and is viewed by many as an expert instructor, coach, and program designer. In addition to these skills, Carl has published in the area of developing diverse talent pools, leadership development, and development of higher level learning.

Results Achieved

  • Worked with a high growth organization to realign their talent identification and succession planning activities resulting in greater efficiency and selection accuracy as well as more targeted development efforts and cost savings.
  • Served as the subject matter expert for a large Federal Agency in their efforts to move from replacement planning to succession planning. This work resulted in the identification of significant cost savings and a redesign of their entire HR structure. It increased transparency while reducing redundancy.
